The marina was developed by the Marina Island Group in 2009 as part of its vision to establish Marina Island Pangkor as Malaysia’s premier waterfront destination.
The marina has earned the confidence of the international sailing community by providing reliable berthing, quality marine services, and a strategic stopover for vessels travelling between Singapore, Langkawi, Phuket, Indonesia, and beyond.
The Marina Island Group made the strategic decision in 2026 to directly manage and operate its own marina through Goldhill Optimum Sdn Bhd, establishing MI Pangkor Marina.

MI Pangkor Marina is on Marina Island Pangkor at Teluk Muroh, Lumut, Perak, on the Strait of Malacca. It sits between Pangkor Island and the Royal Malaysian Navy Headquarters and is connected directly to the mainland by bridge. Position: N 04°12.633′ E 100°36.148′.
The marina has 82 wet berths for vessels up to 72 ft and 110 hardstand spaces for vessels up to 65 ft, in naturally sheltered waters with 24-hour access.
Yes. Our 45-ton KMI Sea-Lift handles monohulls and catamarans, including mast-up haul-outs. Boatyard services include anti-fouling, customised wood repairs, paints and varnish, fibreglass and gelcoat repairs, and mechanical systems.
Fuel, fresh water and shore power; laundry and shower facilities; complimentary Wi-Fi and a library; convenience stores and F&B outlets; and 24-hour security patrols. Provisioning, banking, healthcare and government agencies are close by in Lumut, Seri Manjung and Sitiawan.

MI Pangkor Marina is managed by Goldhill Optimum Sdn. Bhd. (1176018-D), a member of the Marina Island Group, as the appointed Facility Manager from 1 September 2026. Existing berthing rates offered by Pangkor Marina Sdn. Bhd. (PMSB) remain unchanged unless otherwise notified in writing.
Fully furnished serviced apartments of 70 m² and above are just 100 metres from the marina. Within a short stroll are Hightime Café, LaBella Casa Restaurant, Bako Bako Resto, Rockbund Fishing Chalet, Burg & Go and a 24-hour 7-Eleven.
